On another note...

I'm a bit of a rebellious girl. I decided that in my new apartment where it's all mine, that there's no reason why the silverware has to be divided by type into the little plastic divider things everyone has. I'm pushing the envelope! I am breaking the norm. I am shifting the paradigm. My silverware is not separated or organized at all. There's integration in my silverware drawer. Spoons mesh with knives that lay beside forks. It's a beautiful thing really.

Freaky

My eyes are crooked. It's strange. Completely asymmetrical. Not like my eye balls are crooked, like crossed or anything like that. It's like my eye sockets are asymmetrical. One is higher than the other one. Strange stuff. Every now and then I'll see a photo of myself and I look like a lady in one of picaso's drawings, where the left eye is over by the ear and the right eye is up in the middle of the forehead. It's a little disconcerting.

I think what bothers me most about this crooked eye sockets thing is that one of the five signs of beauty is symmetry. Nothing really else to say about this particular fact. Maybe I should flaunt it and use it to my advantage. HEY!!! I just had the strangest thought. All those years that I wore glasses, they always had to be adjusted to account for the fact that my ears were also asymmetric...One was higher than the other one. Maybe it wasn't my ears all that time, but my eye sockets!! That would account for glasses looking crooked.

While I'm airing my dirty laundry, i originially spelled "asymmetry" as "assymetry".

And just to clarify and totally freak you out, I wrote that part about the picaso painting before I went searching for a photo to go along with it. I just happened to know my picaso so well, that the blurb about the eyes was completely true and authentic to picaso.
