Here she comes to save the day!!!!

So the enchanting Melissa Susan Chu shall grace the New Mexico landscape with her presence once more. A reunion of a girl and her childhood. A reunion of friends from long ago and today. There shall be talking, there shall be laughing, there shall be reminiscing and remembering. There will be taking a moment to relish the loyalty of friendship despite different directions and different personalities. 4 girls...gals...women so remarkably different, yet bound somehow. Bound by common interest, by common humor, by common experience and growth.

I've noticed alot lately that despite the details and differences between people, at a certain level we're all the same. All walking around without a clue mostly. Sometimes what we have in common is that drive in our souls to know something deeper beyond ourselves. All being bombarded by what we call life and learning to find joy despite. Grabbing on to those around us to keep a steady footing.

Which brings me to another thought. I learned lately (and shall continue to learn my whole life long) that it's a beautiful thing in the midst of life's problems, when one can look up and see that what she needs is right before her. Mostly I find that thing I need that I find is simply a friend. That person who knows and understands and who is a set of ears. I am grateful and blessed enough in my life that I have several people who serve that purpose. They are the gift that I get right in the moment I need it. It's not just one person, but many.

Bananas!!

It's been a long time since I've posted anything. This is due to crazy business at work...and really nothing exciting going on.

I travelled on an airplane to South Carolina to see my Aunt get hitched. That was fun. I shall post a couple of pictures: The first one is my Uncle Chris, Aunt Benita, Mom, Aunt Roberta, and Dad at a lounge on top of a fancy restaurant in downtown Charleston.

This one is my Aunt Robert and new Uncle John signing their marriage license. She sure looks happy!!

I like flying on airplanes. I have to sit by the window so that I can look out over the quickly passing ground. Even when you're too high up to see people or cars, the clouds or the trees or the mountains still look amazing. I enjoy the take off and the landing...even a little turbulence in the air is great! Always that hint of danger, but not really. I'm a little disappointed in the flight attendant attitude and service on Delta airlines. You can tell them I said that. =)

Before that, I attended a Valentine's Tea with the ladies at my church. This is little Ashton and her hat. She's perfect. Even moreso in person.

After that, but before the trip to South Carolina, me and Amber threw a little Valentine's day party. I would post pictures from that, but there was some incidents with underwear that really shouldn't be shown for the world to see! Well, OK...but only one. Yes, that's Johanna with a diaper on her head.

I wish I had something interesting to say, but for tonight, take the photos and enjoy life with me.
